Published content is called a LEAF and you can search published leaves and from the main page.
Clicking on ‘View‘ will show you more details on a particular LEAF and allows you to ‘Open‘ or ‘Purchase‘ the leaf and have it added directly to your Google Drive.
Certain free leaves also allow other users to COLLABORATE using the ‘Add a Collab‘ feature. See this link for more information on Collaboration.
